1. Refunds
Refund requests for Skip to the Point are administered by Paddle, the Merchant of Record, in accordance with the Paddle Refund Policy. The Paddle entity named on the receipt is Paddle.com Inc for a purchase in the United States, Paddle.com (Canada) Ltd. for a purchase in Canada, and Paddle.com Market Limited for a purchase elsewhere. These entities are identified in the Paddle Buyer Terms.
A discretionary refund may be considered by Paddle on a case-by-case basis. A request submitted within 14 days of the payment does not, by itself, guarantee that discretionary refund. Paddle may take into account whether the plan tokens included in that period have been used. This policy does not affect a statutory withdrawal or refund right. Where such a right applies, it is governed by applicable law and the Paddle Refund Policy.
2. Submission of a request
A refund request is submitted to Paddle, using the support link on the receipt. Where that link is unavailable, the request may be submitted at paddle.net by selecting Request refund. A technical issue with the Service should be reported to support@skiptothepoint.app.
3. Cancellation
Cancellation is distinct from a refund. It is completed from the Billing page, which opens the Paddle customer portal. A scheduled cancellation maintains the paid plan, and the plan tokens, until the end of the period already paid, and stops the following payment. Amounts already paid for the current period are not returned. When that period ends, the remaining plan tokens are removed. The free daily balance stays.
4. Effect of a refund
Use of the plan tokens included in that period does not by itself decide a discretionary refund. Paddle may take that use into account. Paddle issues a refund where the Paddle Refund Policy or applicable law requires it.
Where Paddle approves a full refund, or where the payment is subject to a chargeback, the paid plan ends at that time. Plan tokens remaining on the account are removed. The balance is not reduced below zero. Tokens already consumed are not recovered and are not charged again. A partial refund does not, by itself, end the plan or remove the plan tokens. The free daily balance is unchanged.
5. Defects
Where the extension does not operate as described, the issue should be reported to support@skiptothepoint.app. Reasonable efforts will be made to remedy it. Where a refund is due under the Paddle Refund Policy or applicable law, that refund is administered by Paddle.
