# Skip to the Point

> YouTube browser extension that analyzes the transcript and auto-skips sponsors, self-promo, filler, and outros. It does not skip YouTube ads. It is not a mobile app.

Skip to the Point is a desktop browser extension. It reads a YouTube video's transcript, marks sections that do not add to the main point, and skips those sections during playback when Auto-skip is on. Analysis needs captions. Videos without a transcript, including most music videos, cannot be analyzed. A 10-minute video typically takes about 10 seconds to analyze. The site states v1.1 accuracy above 80%.

Free is $0 per month: 30,000 tokens per day, videos up to 15 minutes, limited Fast Mode, and access to videos that were already analyzed. Pro is $1.99 per month: 100,000 tokens per month, any video length, and unlimited Fast Mode. Pro Plus is $2.99 per month: everything on Pro, with 2× the usage of Pro. Analysis uses 1,000 tokens per minute of video. Unused daily tokens do not roll over. Already analyzed videos do not cost tokens again. Fast Mode is up to 2.5× faster and uses more credits; it does not change the subscription price.

Auto-analyze is optional. Watching a video for more than 5 seconds can start an analysis. Choosing which skip reasons to keep is not available yet. The extension skips parts inside the video. It does not skip ads inserted by YouTube.

The Chrome Web Store listing URL is not published on the site yet. Sign-in, dashboard, checkout, and connect are account pages, not product documentation. Privacy, terms, and refund pages exist, but their legal text is not published yet.
